Ntron Model C-5 Handheld Percent Range Oxygen Analyzer with Internal Pump

model c-5The Ntron Model C-5 is a battery powered, handheld oxygen analyzer with internal pump that can quickly provide analysis of 0-25% oxygen with 0.1% resolution. Rugged and compact enough to be carried in a briefcase or toolbox, the versatile, inexpensive C-5 is equally suited on the production floor, in research labs, or for tuning combustion processes.

Fuel Cell Oxygen Sensor Technology
The C-5 oxygen sensor is a small diffusion limited, fuel cell that converts oxygen concentration by volume directly into low level electrical current. Using a capillary as the diffusion interface provides for a sturdier sensor with better temperature and pressure coefficients than membrane type oxygen cells. The size of a “C” cell flashlight battery, the C-5 oxygen sensor is inexpensive, disposable, and unaffected by most background gases.

Two Sampling Modes
The C-5 features two sampling modes. The timed ‘ON’ mode provides for repeatability in multiple samples and maximizes battery life. The C-5 draws a sample for 20 seconds and holds the display for 30 additional seconds. In the continuous ‘CAL’ mode, the C-5’s pump draws a sample and displays its oxygen concentration continuously.

Easy to Maintain
An integral moisture trap and line filter protect the oxygen sensor from potential contaminants. The inexpensive, disposable oxygen sensor calibrates with ambient air and is simple to replace. The C-5 is powered by 4 ‘AA’ batteries.

High Purity Welding
The C-5 is ideally suited for high-purity welding. An oxygen analyzer, like the C- 5, is the only way to accurately measure low concentrations of oxygen in purged tubing and pipes in high purity weldments.

pure n2The Ntron Pure N2 Oxygen Analyzer offers a cost effective solution to rapid and precise oxygen measurement.
