7400 Series Controller

The Series 7400 Controller is a wallmount 1 to 4 channel receiver housed in a NEMA-4X enclosure. 7400 Controller accepts any 4-20 mA input and a large backlit display providing individual readout of each channel.

The 7400 Controller includes common alarm, warn, fail and horn relays while the optional relay package offers 8 individual 5 amp relays (6 SPDT, 2 DPDT) that are completely user programmable and assignable for any of the four channels. Individual relays can be configured for “voting and zoning logic”

Installation of 7400 Controller is easy and the receiver’s set up and operation is performed via an intuitive pushbutton interface. Optional Battery Backup (096-0719) provides 2.5 amp/hours of operation during power outages to ensure continued protection against airborne hazards.

 The 3M Scott 7200 Plus/7400 Plus Controller is designed to provide simultaneous display and alarm functions for up to four monitored variables. Flamevision FV-400 Series Flame Detector

The 3M Scott FV400 Flame Detectors use a Triple IR solar blind technology combined with flame detection algorithms to provide high performance sensing capabilities for hydrocarbon fires. This provides a reliable, cost-effective solution in standard flame detection applications where there is a single hazard in the field of view. This includes the ability to reliably sense flames through high densities of solvent vapors and black smoke, increasing the probability of early and consistent detection of a variety of hydrocarbon fuels from alcohol to aviation fuel.

The Protégé MasterDock II (MD II) is an expandable, smart docking station that is compatible with the complete line of Protégé portable monitors. The device features an intuitive touch screen interface and can accommodate up to six gas bottles simultaneously. Up to 10 of the docking stations can be networked to bump, calibrate or charge 10 identical monitors or any combination of the Protégé family of monitors simultaneously.

The MD II includes line power or an optional rechargeable battery pack for remote locations. The docking station can be connected to a PC by either USB or Ethernet cable for remote access to data. Data is also easily retrievable from the easy-to-read LCD interface on the docking station.​

The 3M Scott Spyglass system can replace 20 line of sight point gas detectors, saving up-front costs and ongoing maintenance costs. There are only two units to service, and the maintenance requirements are minimal.There is only one long-life consumable to replace periodically. All of this adds up to lower costs for the customer.

The 3M Scott Spyglass system detects hydrocarbon gases by analyzing the absorption of radiation caused by gases in the atmosphere and comparing it to background atmospheric absorption. This is accomplished between a pair of units: a Flash Source and a Detector that can monitor a distance of up to 200 meters.

Spyglass Gas Detectors are robustly designed and can handle the toughest environments: 316L stainless steel housings that meet IP66/IP68 and NEMA 250 6P egress standards; circuit boards epoxy coated for protection; MIL-C-810C testing for humidity, salt, fog, vibration, mechanical shock and temperature extremes; and SIL-2 approval per IEC61508 is a final statement in reliability.
